2ND ADVOCACY TRAINING ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING LAW FOR ANCTIP MEMBERS

ANCTIP Secretariate “OFRD” conducted the second round of Advocacy Training – CTIP to the 14 members of ANCTIP from 24 to 27 April 2019. Major components of TIP Law, policy, forms and level of advocacy, models of advocacy, advocacy strategy, steps for strategy formulation, and preparing the advocacy action plan were the main topics for Advocacy Training. The Advocacy Training was very useful for the capacity building of ANCTIP members for practical advocacy.

Advocacy Training on Human Trafficking Law

ANCTIP Secretariat, Organization of Fast Relief & Development (OFRD) has conducted three days advocacy training for the members of the ANCTIP network from April 20 to 22 2019 at the organization of Fast Relief & Development conference hall.

Fifteen ANCTIP members participated in the training, in this training helped to increase the capacity of ANCTIP members on how to advocate for TIP issues in Afghanistan and watchdog.

Coordination Meeting Between ANCTIP & and TIP High Commission

A practical advocacy started by the ACNTIP on 31 March 2019. ANCTIP made recommendation to the afghanistan TIP High Commission which must be considered for an upcoming MoU between afghanistan and Uzberkistan.

ANCTIP recommended, e.g both countries law must be reviewed, Afghan CSOs must be part of MoU role of media should considered, capacity building of Afghanistan TIP High Commission exchange programs between both countries on TIP annual research, cross border referral mechanisms, annual reports to the public on TIP and budget should be allocated to implements the MoU.

This was a first direct meeting between ANCTIP and technical committee of Afghanistan TIP High Commission and we will have a series of more meetings for more and better advocacy on TIP.
